Artist's Comments
This is something that has meaning to me in a couple of different ways:
1. One being something simple, I know people arent going to like this, and I know people are going to take it the wrong way, but I had enough faith in it to show it to people anyway. 2. Two being that, it means to me that i have a new found affection towards myself that wasnt there before, it was put there by hope, and im not even kidding you I kissed my mirror when I realized it, and then got the idea to make it into an expressive photograph. 3. I can actually see the beauty in myself, reflected back at me, and I can smile about my face. I'm lucky to have my face. Its different. Its special. I know theres gonna be people thinking im trying to be hot (oh i kissed a girl...ooooohhhhh) and theres gonna be people who are thinking i am trying to get attention. if you are one of those people, fuck off, but thank you. i appriciate your imput anyway. i love the picture, its exactly what i wanted. |
